Reaching the 100th day of school is no small feat—especially for our students. One hundred days of learning, growing, moving, trying again, and getting stronger in so many ways.
If there’s one thing I believe as a PE teacher, it’s this...
Every day is a good day to celebrate—but milestone days deserve something extra special.
That’s why I love turning the 100th day of school into a movement-based celebration that highlights student achievement while keeping kids active, motivated, and having fun.
🎉 Why Celebrate the 100th Day in PE?
The 100th day isn’t just a number—it’s a reminder to students of how far they’ve come. Celebrating it in PE helps:
Reinforce positive habits built over the year
Build confidence and pride in effort and growth
Keep learning joyful and active
Show students that movement is something to celebrate
When students feel recognized for their hard work, they’re more engaged—and that energy carries into the rest of the school year.

✅ Download the FREE "100 Days STRONGER" Checklist Activity
To make celebrating easy (and fun!), I created a FREE 100th Day of School PE Checklist Activity designed specifically for PE classes. Challenge your students to complete 100 movement-based tasks, encouraging participation, teamwork, and goal-setting. It’s flexible enough to work for different grade levels and class structures—and it’s a great way to keep students moving with purpose.

Whether you complete the checklist in one class or spread it across multiple lessons, students LOVE seeing their progress add up.

Want to level it up? This checklist pairs perfectly with my Exercise Card Printables: Which you can grab here
Using exercise cards allows you to:
Easily differentiate for ability levels
Rotate stations smoothly
Add variety without extra planning
Keep students engaged and moving the entire class
Just pull a card, match it to the checklist, and you’ve got an instant station or challenge ready to go.
These Exercise Cards & Activities include fitness task cards, movement prompts, station signs, and activity ideas, perfect for PE warm-ups, circuits, centers, and classroom movement breaks.
❄️ Looking Ahead: More PE Fun Is Coming!
The 100th day may be a highlight—but it’s not the only exciting thing ahead! I’ve got more seasonal, high-energy PE units coming your way, including:
🏈 Super Bowl Stations – Perfect for teamwork, skill-building, and excitement
⛷️ Winter Olympic Stations – A student favorite that mixes movement, global themes, and friendly competition.
These units are designed to keep students motivated while giving teachers simple resources with little to no prep.
❤️ Every Day Is Worth Celebrating
Milestones like the 100th day remind students that effort matters and growth is worth celebrating. When we take the time to recognize those moments—especially through movement—we’re helping kids build positive associations with physical activity that last far beyond the gym.
So whether you’re counting to 100, racing through stations, or just finding small ways to celebrate progress…Every day is a good day to celebrate in PE.
Happy 100th Day—and here’s to being 100 days stronger! 💯💪
