I hung mine by the water fountain outside the gym and my students ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! As they wait for their drink, they look at themselves and smile. It's the perfect way to end class!

Class Captain Letters
Print these letters on Astrobrights paper and you'll have a fun and colorful gymnasium! I choose 2 students per month to be the class captains for their PE period. They love earning this role as they get to lead the daily warm-up and choose friends at the end of class to help clean up the equipment.
I use a chalk marker to write the names of the captains on the gym mat next to this sign. I erase with a magic eraser at the end of each month and add the new names. It's super easy and the students look forward to seeing who earns class captain each month!

You Shall Not Pass Door Sign
Is someone sneaking into your equipment room, fridge, or snack drawer?
This Yellow "You Shall Not Pass" sign is for you! It's funny, but gets the point across. The kids get a kick out of it and it's a great conversation starter! It's helped me make connections with a few of my quieter students. They were so excited that I like Lord of The Rings!
Hydration Station Bulletin Board
This updated "Hydration Station" bundle will not only look awesome, it will also cut your water break transition time in half if you teach this routine!
Students line up at the water fountain and take a drink for just as long as it takes to say "1,2,3, That's Enough For Me". This has worked wonders for time management in my classes and I hope it does for you as well!
PE Word Wall Letters
Print these letters on Astrobrights cardstock and hang them on your gym wall!
You'll have an eye-catching word wall right in your gymnasium! If you don't want the bright colors, you can also print on neutral card stock OR keep it cool with your school colors!
Work Hard, Play Safe, Be Kind Letters
The 3 rules that everything can fall under in your PE class!
At the end of class we huddle up and I choose 3 students to give a "shout out". One chooses someone they saw working hard, the next playing safe, and last but most certainly not least... being kind.
The students look forward to this part of class and work REALLY hard to get their shout-outs. I also add some in if I saw something spectacular from a student.
